Buying

Does REDELUXE charge sales tax?

Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the current tax rate for the zip code displayed on your shipping address.

As of now REDELUXE is legally obligated to charge sales tax to California, New York, and Texas. 

How to cancel an order?

At this time we can only cancel orders placed within the first hour of purchase against a 3% fee.

What if I can’t finish my payment plan?

We understand that sometimes people have a change in mind or even encounter circumstances that would prohibit them from finishing their payment plan. 

In this case, you would need to contact us at shop@redeluxe.com and notify us of your desire to cancel your payment plan. Note that you will be refunded all but 25% of the total cost of the item. 

In the case that you just need more time, REDELUXE can extend your payment plan for $50 per week up to 2 weeks. Contact us at shop@redeluxe.com for assistance. 

Selling

Why Buyout?

While we do accept some preowned designer handbags on consignment, 98% of what we do is buyouts. As the best place to sell luxury bags, we like our transactions to be easy and stress-free. 

When you’re ready to sell your items, we believe you shouldn’t have to wait weeks or even months waiting for your items to sell on consignment to be paid out. With our buyouts, you’ll get your money within 48 hours after we receive it and authenticate it.

How long is my quote valid?

After we give you a calculated quote for a buyout, you will have 7 days to accept or deny the quote. Once you accept the quote you will then have an additional 7 days to ship the item to us. If you do not accept or ship within the respective 7 day periods, the quote will no longer be valid and you will need to resubmit your item to be quoted. 

Why was my item not accepted?

We are sorry that we were not able to successfully quote you this time. 

Here are a few reasons why your preowned designer handbag may not have been accepted:

  • The item is from a brand we don’t commonly work with 
  • Your item may not be a category that we accept, such as clothing or fragrance. 
  • The potential resale value of your item may be low (be it due to the style, color, size, condition, etc.)
  • We already have the same/similar items in stock at the moment. REDELUXE is the easiest and best place to sell luxury bags, so we encourage you to reach back out in a few months as our inventory changes often. 

Shipping

What shipping service do we use?

All of our orders will be sent via FedEx. At checkout you will have the option to choose our free FedEx 2Day Shipping option for any domestic shipment. International orders will be shipped with FedEx Priority Shipping for a $99 fee. 

Please note that there may be a case when another courier is used to ship your items. In this case, the customer will be notified of the change. 

*While deliveries may be scheduled for a specified arrival, REDELUXE cannot guarantee delivery by any specific time. Delays may be caused by weather or other issues and REDELUXE is unable to refund any shipping fees for these kinds of delays as they are out of our control.

Do we ship to P.O. Boxes?

We understand that you may want an item shipped to a P.O. Box but in order to reduce any online security issues we are not shipping to P.O. Boxes at this time.

What if my package is lost?

All packages with a Redeluxe-provided shipping label are tracked and insured. In the event of a lost package, please contact us by chat or email at shop@redeluxe.com for assistance.

Do you ship internationally?

International shipping takes approximately 3-7 business days to arrive from the order date. We ship internationally with FedEx, or on occasion with DHL or UPS, depending on location. The shipping fee for all international orders is typically $55-$99. Please note Redeluxe now covers any import duties, goods, and services tax (GST), value-added tax (VAT), customs fees, and any other tax on top of the purchase price. So, this is at no additional cost to you. Yay! Delivery delays may occur due to external factors such as customs clearance. Items made of exotic materials cannot be shipped outside the US. All shipments are tracked and insured.

We do our best to serve you in as many avenues of communication as possible. However, the best way to contact us is through our email address (shop@redeluxe.com). While we are able to get to Instagram messages faster sometimes, we ask that serious inquiries/questions be sent via email as we receive thousands of social media messages per week. Please allow up to 2 business days for our response. We look forward to talking with you. 

Do we offer a quality warranty?

REDELUXE is not responsible for any new damage or wear to an item after it is purchased. We are unable to honor any brand-specific warranties as we are not a part of the manufacturing process. As thoroughly equipped as our team is to examine each preowned designer handbag, we are unable to predict the long-term workmanship of the items listed on our website.   

How long until I hear back from REDELUXE?

As a rapidly growing business, we are continuing to do our best to get back to you ASAP. Our goal is to be here for you as often and quickly as we can. The average response time at the moment is 1-2 business days. 

How to know if my item is eligible for buy back program?

We would love to buy your previously purchased items back from you! 

In order to be eligible for the full buyback price all items must be in the same condition that they were purchased in. 

Any items with additional flaws, damage, odor, etc., may not be eligible for the full buy back price. 

If you sell your item back within 3 months:

We can offer 75% of your original purchase price

If you sell your item back within 4-6 months:

We can offer 70% of your original purchase price.

If you sell your item back within 7-12 months:
We can offer 65%.

How can I be sure an item is authentic?

Our team of in-house experts is thoroughly trained and equipped to examine all items that we receive to determine their authenticity. We are proud to say that we have never sold a fake! On top of this, we guarantee the authenticity of each preowned designer handbag we sell or 100% of your money back - Ensuring your trust is our top priority. 

*please note that if there are authenticity concerns the item must be shipped back to us and will be authenticated from a reputable source at your expense. Both the authentication fee and the full price paid would be refunded if determined inauthentic. Note also that Chanel SA’s are not authorized or trained to authenticate items.
